Greg Beebe is a seasoned trial attorney in Helena, Montana, and the founding partner of Beebe & Flowers Law Firm.
Greg represents clients facing a wide range of criminal charges including felonies, misdemeanors and DUIs from arraignment through jury trial and even on to appeal. Greg and the firm have significant experience with successfully defending the accused against the most serious and complex criminal allegations.
Combined, Greg Beebe and Brent Flowers have taken between 150 to 200 cases to trial.
Greg also represents persons facing particularly difficult family law cases with a focus on attempting to mitigate the adverse effects of dissolution on children. Greg is uniquely qualified to handle family law matters that are complicated by criminal charges or orders of protection.
Greg also devotes a significant portion of his time to appellate practice at the Montana Supreme Court. He has a passion for serving those who have been wrongly convicted or have been deprived of due process.
Beebe is deeply involved in civil rights litigation. Presently, Beebe & Flowers Law Firm and Doubek, Pyfer & Storrar, P.C. are prosecuting a class-action lawsuit against Lewis & Clark County for subjecting nearly 4,000 people to illegal strip searches while detained for minor offenses at the Lewis & Clark County Detention Center in violation of the Montana Constitution and statutory authority. Greg looks forward to fighting back against the State, its municipalities, and its institutions in future cases where the rights of Montana’s most vulnerable citizens have been trampled upon with impunity.
Greg graduated summa cum laude from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2005. While in law school, he served on the editorial board of the Idaho Law Review in 2004 and 2005.
Greg Beebe started his career as an associate with Jackson, Murdo & Grant, P.C. in 2005. He served in the Office of the State Public Defender as an Assistant Public Defender from 2007 to 2009. Greg then was a Deputy Jefferson County Attorney from 2009 until 2011 prosecuting felony and misdemeanor criminal matters. In 2009, Greg started Beebe Law Firm and then combined forces with Brent Flowers to form Beebe & Flowers Law Firm in 2018.
Prior to law school, Greg worked as a roughneck in the oilfields of Wyoming and as a reporter for local newspapers. A very long time ago, Greg also had a career in the restaurant business.
Greg still enjoys cooking for his family, particularly eastern Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine. Greg is also an avid fly fisherman, and you may see him hunting trout from a drift boat or raft on Montana’s majestic rivers.
Greg is also a bassist in an indie rock band comprised of life-long friends and talented musicians who disbanded 20 years ago, but despite great distances between the members are currently writing and recording a second album remotely and expect it will be released in 2020.
